First of all, the question is-- can there be a coffee or liquid with zero viscosity coffee? We know that there is negative viscosity. Is having zero viscosity similar?
Viscosity is the resistance of a fluid to flow and it comes from the friction of molecules as they move against each other within the fluid. All fluids have at least some resistance to flow – except super fluids.
We will be at the 2017 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference next week from May 1st to May 3rd. Stop by booth #502 to check out our viscometer line and to meet with RheoSense specialists.
RheoSense is will be exhibiting at the 2016 BioProcessing Summit from August 15 to August 19. Visit us at Booth #101 to meet our specialists and see the newautomatic, high throughput viscometer, VROC® initium!
Our team is in Asia! Traveling through Taiwan, Korea, and Japan, contact us if you would like more information on where are are and our next destinations!
SAN RAMON, CA – May 14, 2016 – RheoSense, Inc. is proud to introduce VROC® initium, the first automatic viscometer that revolutionizes viscosity characterization. Equipped with automatic sample loading and sample cleaning, VROC® initium measures absolute viscosity as a function of shear rate across a wide temperature range. This allows unique viscosity fingerprinting of your samples. Samples in 96 well plate as well as 40 vial racks can be tested automatically with our intuitive software.
Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is a globular protein extracted from cow’s blood. Due to its low-cost, stability and availability, BSA is widely used as a protein concentration standard.
